SECH(z)

  • where z is any real number

Description

  • This function gives the hyperbolic Secant of 'z',
  • It is also called as Circular function.
  • SECH is the reciprocal of COSH function.
  • SECH(z)=Failed to parse (MathML with SVG or PNG fallback (recommended for modern browsers and accessibility tools): Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle cosh (z)^{-1}} i.e, Failed to parse (MathML with SVG or PNG fallback (recommended for modern browsers and accessibility tools): Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle \frac{ 2} {e^z+e^{-z}} } or SEC(iz). where 'i' is the imaginary unit and Failed to parse (MathML with SVG or PNG fallback (recommended for modern browsers and accessibility tools): Invalid response ("Math extension cannot connect to Restbase.") from server "https://wikimedia.org/api/rest_v1/":): {\displaystyle i=\sqrt{-1}}
  • Also relation between Hyperbolic & Trignometric function is Sec(iz) = Sech(z) & Sec(iz) = Sec(z)
