COMPLEX(RN,IN,S)

  • Where 'RN' is the real coefficient
  • 'IN' is the imaginary coefficient of the complex number.
  • 'S is the suffix for the imaginary component of the complex number.

COMPLEX function converts the real and imaginary coefficients into a complex number.

  • COMPLEX returns the error value, when RN and IN are nonnumeric.
  • 'S' should be either 'I' or 'j', otherwise it shows error value.

COMPLEX

COMPLEX(RN,IN,S)

=COMPLEX(5,2) is 5+2i
