COMPLEX(RN,IN,S)

• 'RN' is the real number.
• 'IN' is the imaginary number.
• 'S' is the suffix for the imaginary number.

Description

• COMPLEX function converts the real and imaginary coefficients into a complex number.
• A complex number is a number is in the form z = a + bi, where a and b are real numbers and i is the imaginary unit and $i={\sqrt {(}}-1)$
• COMPLEX returns the error value, when RN and IN are non-numeric.
• 'S' should be either 'I' or 'j', otherwise it shows error value.

• COMPLEX(RN,IN,S)
• =COMPLEX(5,2) is 5+2i
• =COMPLEX(5,2,"j") is 5+2j
