MULTIPLYBY(By,OtherArguments)

where

• $By$ is the number to be multiplied by
• $OtherArguments$ is a single number or an array of numbers with which multiplication is to be carried out.

Description

• This function calculates the multiplication of $By$ number with each given number from the $OtherArguments$ array.
• Multiplication is one of the four basic operations of arithmetic.
• Multiplication is adding equal parts or groups.
• Multiplication is the repeated addition and it is the opposite of Division.

Examples

1. MULTIPLYBY(3,2.5) = 7.5
2. MULTIPLYBY(-7,20) = -140
3. A= 5 ; MULTIPLYBY(A,6) = 30
