DAY(Value)

• where $Value$ is the date of the day to find.

Description

• This function gives the day of the specified date.
• The day is the integer which is from 1 to 31.
• $Value$ is the date of the day and the dates should be entered in the DATE function format.
• i.e DATE(2014,1,7) for 7th day of January, 2014.
• So we have to use this function like DAY("7-JAN-2014") or DAY("1-7-2014") is 7

ZOS Section

• The syntax is to calculate DAY in ZOS is $DAY(VALUE)$.
• $Value$ is the date of the day to find.
• For e.g:DAY(#7-JUN-2014..15-JUN-2014).

• DAY("12/11/2013") = 12
• DAY("12-DEC-2012")=13
