ABS(Number)

• $Number$ is indicating the real value.

Description

• This function gives the absolute value of a given number.
• Here $Number$ is the real value which we want to find absolute value of that number.
• The absolute value of a real number is its distance from 0(origin) on the number line.
• Absolute value of a number is always $+ve$.
• This function is used to remove negative sign from a given number.
• Absolute value is denoted by Failed to parse (syntax error): {\displaystyle "||"} .
• i.e.,ABS(Number)=|Number|.
• Also $|7|={\sqrt {7^{2}}}$.

• The syntax is to calculate ABS in ZOS is $ABS(Number)$.
  • $Number$ is indicating the real value.
• For e.g.,ABS(-16)*-ABS(-4)/((ABS(-4))^2*ABS(-2)).

• ABS(8) = 8
• ABS(-5) = 5
• ABS(1/2) = 0.5
• ABS(-1/4) = 0.25
