CUMIPMT(R, NPPeriods, PValue, SP, EP, Type)

where,

R - the interest rate.

NPPeriods - the total number of payment periods.

PV - the present value.

SP - the first period beginning with 1.

EP - the last period.

Type - the timing of the payment.

TYPE              TIMIING

0                     Payment at the end of the period

1                     Payment at the beginning of the period


This function gives the cumulative interest paid on a loan between SP and EP.


CUMIPMT shows the ERROR value when R<=0, NPPeriods<=0, PresentValue<=0, or SP<1, EP<1, SP >EP,

Type should be 0 or 1.

Lets see an example

=CUMIPMT(0.03/12,B3*12,B4,13,24,0)

CUMIPMT returns -5527.3132.

Consider another example

=CUMIPMT(0.02/12,10*12,200000,10,20,1)

CUMIPMT returns -3269.9831.
