NOMINAL(ER, nper)

Where 'ER'is the effective interest rate and 'nper' is the number of compounding periods per year.


 This function calculates the nominal annual interest rate, given the effective rate and the number of compounding periods per year.

 
  • NOMINAL shows the error value. When either argument is nonnumeric or ER ≤ 0 or nper <1
  • NOMINAL is shown in the following equation:
