MIDN(Array, n, fromX)
- is the set of elements in an array
- is the number of middle elements of a given array to be displayed
- is the number of elements to be skipped after the first element
Description
- MIDN() function is used to display the mentioned number of values in an array, skipping the specified number of elements from the first element.
- First element of an array is displayed. Remaining values are displayed after skipping the elements from the array.
- Argument can be text, numbers, or any special characters like @,&...
- should be entered in double quotes("") for text and special characters.
- Argument should be a positive number less than or equal to the number of values in array. Count with decimal value is rounded to nearest integer.
- For greater than number of elements in array, or negative value, Calci displays first element of array.
Examples
- MIDN([1,9,15,34,22,6,7,43,21,99],4,2) = 1 34 22 6
- MIDN(1..20,5,4) = 1 6 7 8 9
- MIDN([200,300,400,500,600,700],1.6,1) = 200 400
- MIDN(["name","address","pin"],1/3) = name
- MIDN(1..5,-2) = 1
- MIDN(1..5,7) = 1
