MEDIAN(n1,n2,...) where n1,n2… are numbers.


It calculates the median of the given numbers.


·          For even numbers in the set,MEDIAN calculates the average of the two numbers in the middle.

Let’s see an example in (Column1 Row 1:Column1Row6)

MEDIAN (v1, v2,….)

i.e. =MEDIAN (C1R1:C1R6) is 35 (for even set)

=MEDIAN (C1R1:C1R5) is 30(for odd set)
