NUMBER(Thing)

• $Thing$ is any number.

Description

• This function gives it as Number object.
• The primary uses of the Number object are:
  • If the argument cannot be converted into a number, it returns NaN.
  • In a non-constructor context (i.e., without the new operator), Number can be used to perform a type conversion.

Examples

1. NUMBER("65") = 65
2. NUMBER("Hello") = null
3. NUMBER("-32") = -32
