THETAINDEGREES(Parts,Times)
- is the number of parts into which the 360 degree rotation of a circle is to be divided
- is the number of times the pattern has to be repeated.
Description
- This function divides the 360 degree rotation of a circle in mentioned number of parts and repeats the parts with mentioned number of times.
- Theta or is a variable that stands for angle in geometry and trigonometry.
- Angles are displayed in degrees.
- Degree is the measure for angles. There are 360 degrees in a full rotation.
- 1 degrees = 0.0174532925 radians.
- The symbol for degrees is .
- If not mentioned, the default value for is 1.
- and should be positive numbers. Else Calci gives an error message.
ZOS
- The syntax is to calculate THETAINDEGREES in ZOS is THETAINDEGREES(Parts,Times).
- e.g THETAINDEGREES(4,2) displays 0 90 180 270 360 450 540 630 720 as a result.
Here 360 degree rotation is divided into 4 parts i.e 0 90 180 270 360 (0 and 360 come to a same point). Then this set is repeated one more time for further angles like 450,540,630,720.
Examples
- THETAINDEGREES (12)=0 30 60 90 120 150 180 210 240 270 300 330 360
- THETAINDEGREES (3,3)=0 120 240 360 480 600 720 840 960 1080
- THETAINDEGREES (5,2)=0 72 144 216 288 360 432 504 576 648 720
