TANH(x)

• where x is any real number.
  • TANH(), returns the hyperbolic tangent of a number.

Description

• This function gives the hyperbolic Tan of 'x'.
• It is also called as Circular function.
• Here $TANH(x)={\frac {e^{x}-e^{-x}}{e^{x}+e^{-x}}}$ ie, ${\frac {SINH(x)}{COSH(x)}}$ or $-iTAN(ix)$, where $i$ is the imginary unit and $i={\sqrt {-1}}$
• Also relation between Hyperbolic & Trigonometric function is $Tan(ix)=iTanh(x)$ & $Tanh(ix)=iTan(x)$
• TANH(-x)=-TANH(x)
