HALFOF(Number)

• $Number$ is any real number.

Description

• This function returns the half of the given number.
• In $HALFOF(Number)$,$Number$ is any real number.
• It returns the half of the numbers.
• To divide a number in Half means to divide it into two equal parts.
• So to find a half a number, to divide the given number of 2.
• For example HALFOF(11)=11/2 = 5.5.

Examples

1. HALFOF(8) = 4
2. HALFOF(567) = 283.5
3. HALFOF(-97.25) = -48.625
4. HALFOF(7/8) = 0.4375
