IMSUMTWO(ComplexNumber1,ComplexNumber2)

• $ComplexNumber1,ComplexNumber2$ are two complex numbers of the form $z=a+ib$

Description

• This function calculates the sum of two complex numbers.
• Complex number is indicated as $z=a+ib$, where $a$ & $b$ are the real numbers, and $i$ is the imaginary unit. $i={\sqrt {-1}}$.
• In this function $ComplexNumber1$ and $ComplexNumber2$ are compulsory arguments.
• Let $z1=a+ib$ and $z2=c+id$. The addition of two complex number is:$(a+ib)+(c+id)=(a+c)+(b+d)i$ where $a,b,c$ and $d$are real numbers.
• We can use COMPLEX function to convert real and imaginary number into a complex number.

• The syntax is to calculate sum of two complex numbers in ZOS is $IMSUMTWO(ComplexNumber1,ComplexNumber2)$
  • $ComplexNumber1,ComplexNumber2$ are two complex numbers of the form $z=a+ib$
